Your baby now weighs nearly 430 grams, is about 28 centimeters long from crown to heel and has the same proportions as a newborn, albeit a bit spinkigare because the baby’s body condition has not developedyet.
Before your baby put on the hook, the skin looks a little wrinkled and translucent, but now increasing in importance every day. Lips and eyesare formed, but the iris (colored part) still lacks pigment. The pancreas, which is important for the production of hormones, is developing at a steady pace.
We already have tooth buds in the jaws. It’s not long until you get to meet your child and within the first year starts teething.
Until now you have probably gained weight by between 5.5 and 7 kg, but from now you will be increasing rapidly in importance - expect just under a quarter of a kilo per week. It is common and perfectly normalto have cravings for specific foods, and increased (but not mixedblood) discharge.
