Your baby is now 8.1 to 11.4 cm from head to tail, and weighs about52-68 grams. The size is about one grapefruit.

The face of the fetus becoming more developed, and now you can clearly see a bridge of the nose and ears and eyes migrate towardtheir final positions on the head. Another major change is the formation of lanugohåret is a fine hair growing all over the body in swirling patterns for skin texture (which later will be designed to be the baby’sfingerprints).
Lanugohåret will fall down before birth and replaced by coarser hair.
Your baby’s thyroid gland has matured and starts to producehormones. If a baby is a boy so formed a prostate, and in girls walkdown the ovaries from the abdomen to the groin.
The soft cartilage elements are now beginning to be partiallyconverted into bone. Your baby has eyebrows and no eyelashes.

You feel perhaps a bit more energetic from now onwards inpregnancy. The worst tiredness usually give away and many womenwill light up during this part. The uterus grows from day to day and you can track its growth by carefully locating the top with your fingers. It will gradually grow up in the stomach, from the pubic bone to above your navel. Because of your growing belly and that you bind more water in your body so you are likely to start having to wear clothes for pregnantpretty soon.
